Ricky Burns joins Salt to lead the Perm Technology Team in London

Salt welcomes Ricky Burns as Sales Director for their Perm Technology Team in London. Ricky has been working in recruitment since 2004, building high performing teams across Data, Analytics & Technology. Having worked at Salt from 2014 until early 2017, Ricky is re-joining the business.

The technology practice in the UK has grown to become the largest specialist recruitment team of the company and will, therefore, be split into a contract division led by Sales Director Richard Norris, and a perm division run by newly appointed Ricky Burns.

The last 12 months have been a high growth period for Salt, following the merger with their APAC sister company to form a global business, now covering digital recruitment across the US, EMEA and APAC. The work on the strategic alignment of the businesses and the development of global best practice has now culminated in the rehiring of Ricky.

Ricky Burns, Sales Director, said, “I am excited to be back at Salt, I actually missed the team and the great spirit here. Leading the Permanent Data & Technology practice means working with some of the most exciting digital companies in the UK. I am looking forward to working with Richard and the team to continue to grow our tech expert division.”

Elliot Dell, CEO of Salt Recruitment Group, said, “Ricky initially joined us in 2014, building a great Tech Perm Team and installing great discipline and consistency to the department. Ricky was also instrumental in our Salt DNA for the UK office and a real pleasure to have on the management team. We are very excited about his move back to Salt as we plan for 2018”
