THE COMPANY

Our client offers a wide range of IT services and solutions built around industry best practise and delivered by Prince2 and ITIL qualified professionals.

They have a wide range of clients and our constantly growing their services such as, Cloud, Infrastructure and security, BI and CRM and Microsoft services.

THE ROLE

This role is predominantly office-based with responsibility for the management and execution of our client's service projects, including the ownership of project documentation. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of multiple projects simultaneously. The first priority of a Project Stage Manager is to ensure effective delivery of projects within their work stream. There may be some requirement to travel as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather information on service projects from the supplier Project Managers, Solutions Managers and Internal Operations Manager, in order to plan, support and deliver projects accurately and effectively.
  • Create project documentation and contracts

  • Statement of works
  • Partner agreements
  • Supplier agreements
  • Framework contracts (CITHS)

    • Oversee the management of all stages and key deliverables of projects through to sign-off.
    • Set up and maintain project documentation, including project logs, the master project plan, and risk registers.
    • Support Project Managers in the delivery of Project Management services.
    • Receive and deliver work packages created by the Project Manager.
    • Maintain project data within the Project Management Tool to ensure clear and concise information on all live projects.
    • Understand how to breakdown and manage service orders through our CRM system.
    • Manage the contracts between customers and suppliers.
    • Contribute to the resource management process.

    Supplier Management

    • Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers delivering consultancy within projects.
    • Carry out periodic supplier meetings to review live projects.
    • Monitor, manage and sign off consultancy as it is delivered.
    • Manage and escalate any supplier issues relating to services projects.

    Internal Relationships & Management

    • Report project activity to the Projects and Operations Manager on a regular basis.
    • Liaise with Accounts department to manage the invoice and payment process.
    • Liaise with Service Delivery team to ensure clear communication during the delivery of a project.
    • Proactively support our sales business to ensure effective communication between Sales and Operations.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

    • To demonstrate experience of project management tools and techniques
    • Listen and question effectively to identify customer requirements
    • Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
    • Manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities effectively to deliver against customer requirements, including managing time and utilising resources efficiently
    • See tasks through to completion and within agreed timescales
    • Communicate clearly, openly and effectively and with authority to customers, external partners, and colleagues
    • Use concise business English to achieve clear, accurate and appropriate written communication
    • Use Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint competently

    This is a highly successful and progressive organisation which offers good career progression. The successful candidate will receive a salary between £20,000 - £25,000 basic.
