UX Designer | 6 Months | £300.00 per day | Digital Transformation

Myself and my client, are on the hunt for a UX/UI Designer who will be working from concept to production on multiple projects for a 6 months contract based over in London.

The UX Designer will gain exposure to many of the latest topics and technologies such as blockchain and smart contracts, internet of things, virtual and augmented reality.

The Spec:

  • Create clean, modern screen designs with functional commentary and checklists for new product developments
  • Maintain and enforce design standards
  • Manage the design backlog, in cooperation with the product and development teams and Lead UX Designer
  • Scope, plan and deliver the design work within the requirements of the projects and their deadlines
  • Work with different teams in an agile design and development environment
  • Use creative skills to ensure that websites, apps and services are designed and produced to a high standard

Technical Capabilities and Experience:

  • You will be an expert at creating low- and hi- fidelity, fully-optimised assets for various platforms using HTML5, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experienced as a UI/Visual Designer working across mobile, tablet and desktop interfaces; comfortable with design standards, web design principles, cross-browser and platform compatibilities
  • Understanding core UX principles; experienced with user-centered design, usability testing, prototyping, information architecture, content design
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Experience with design for social media, email and promotional channels
  • Ability to demonstrate and define relevant use of typography, colour, imagery, and graphical elements, working within branding guidelines

  • Pro-active and self-confident, adaptable and able to cope with ambiguity, changing and evolving priorities whilst being able to identify new opportunities.
  • Very collaborative working style; desire and ability to share ideas
  • Passionate and creative; willing to contribute fresh ideas
