Performance Manager – up to £50,000

My client is the global leader in consumer electronics and associated products. They are looking for a dynamic Performance Manager to be the business lead in their online performance strategy focusing on joint digital marketing to deliver an Omni-channel experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a cutting-edge team working on world class products. There is a real culture of innovation, both on a product level and a strategic level.

We are looking for a Manager with a wealth of experience within the paid marketing industry, ideally with experience working for a large brand, leading the digital space, who understands all the dynamics at play in a fast moving environment, develops clear plans and specific initiatives that create a competitive advantage for my client. This person is a great team player with strong leadership qualities, high levels of commitment, aspiration and adaptability. An entrepreneurial mind-set with a keen interest in the technology industry would round up the profile of the candidate we are looking for.

The Performance Manager role:

  • Act as go to person across product divisions for digital retail owned and paid initiatives
  • Ensure we are getting best ROI on all co-marketing activity and ensure we are hitting agreed targets across product divisions
  • Innovate and scale joint search (SEO & PPC) programmes with retail partners
  • Develop and deliver new co-marketing initiatives across paid and owned marketing channels
  • Be an ambassador for co-marketing and ensure you and your team communicate Digital activity in an easy to understand language
  • Working with agency partner to present plans and strategies to line manager and senior stakeholders
  • Attend planning and channel partner meetings to identify opportunities to extend scope
  • Project manages co-marketing activity to ensure end to end process is delivered on time and meets agreed KPI’s.

Required skills for The Performance Manager role:

  • Solid knowledge of Analytics, Display, channel advisor, media activity, search tools and AdWords
  • Understanding of new paid marketing formats for co-marketing
  • Understand data available in tools and how it could benefit us
  • Be aware of new technologies being introduced to the market and their benefits over other technologies
  • A university degree in Business, Marketing and/or Retail
  • A minimum of five years’ experience working in an operational digital role requiring deep technical knowledge and web development know how and day to day management skills, with evidence of commercial success.
