Digital Sales Experience Assistant Manager


Europe Contract / 6 Months £200 - £250 per day

My client a leading utilities provider is looking for a Digital Sales Experience Assistant Manager to take responsibility for a couple of the company’s products and help drive sales through using analytics to improve online conversion.

Job Outline:

The Digital Sales Experience Assistant Manager role is a specialist role at the centre of this company’s digital sales and marketing function.

The job holder will be responsible for maximising sales conversion, prioritising business change, improving customer satisfaction, delivering innovative capabilities and achieving sales targets.

The role holder will do this by:

* Continuously utilising web analytics and KPI’s to drive sales performance improvements.

* Building new digital capabilities to improve the customer experience.

* On-going measurement of customer experience – internal and external benchmarking.

* Managing the delivery of large scale digital change initiatives.

* Ensuring the website content is legally and regulatory compliant (including FCA).

* Controlling customer data transfer in accordance with data privacy policy regulations.

Key Skills:

The key responsibilities for this role are:

* Shaping, developing and delivering a series of value based digital sales initiatives to improve the profitability of the business.

* Continuously reviewing and optimising key sales funnels to increase overall sales conversion and achieve sales targets.

* Demonstrate leadership in identifying new opportunities to enhance the capabilities of the digital sales experience for the company.

* Represent the company’s commercial values to influence and implement the best strategic direction for the Digital sales experience.

* Utilising data analysis to advise senior internal stakeholders on shop performance and recommendation for future direction.

* Virtual team management of the IS development team to drive cost efficiency.

* Management of change budget allocation in a cost effective way.

* Knowledge and practical hands-on experience using Adobe SiteCatalyst and Google Analytics

Key Personal Qualities:

* Highly motivated, a self-starter who is able to multi-task, adapt to change and prioritise work in a fast paced environment.

* Excellent relationship management and communication skills; must be able to work closely with senior leaders, internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver new web capabilities.

* A strategic thinker, with the ability to lead meetings and set the direction with key stakeholder groups.

* Excellent interpersonal skills able to engage and influence across all levels both written and verbally.

* Self motivated and able to use own initiative to solve problems and deliver results.
