Head of Marketing (Planning and Strategy)
My client is a leading cross-platform online store that sells shoes, fashion and beauty items. The role is based in Berlin, and you will be defining their marketing plan and communication strategy.

Responsibilities:

• As the Head of Marketing you are responsible for owning the Fashion Store Marketing Calendar and defining marketing plan and communication strategy
• Develop campaigns in conjunction with Campaign Management. Setting clear and inspiring business objectives and ensuring we are embedding consumer insight into every step of the briefing process
• Understand how customers shop and how customers shopping will change. Keep up to dare with fashion trends, media and what is emerging culture
• Work with relevant consumer insight and marketing data teams to report on effectiveness pf marketing campaigns. Responsible for the cost controlling of the Marketing Strategy and Campaigns team, where you will be responsible for strategically placing marketing investments.
• Consider Category and market requirements and manage alignment between stakeholder

Experience:

• Experienced Head of Marketing ideally within retail, who has experience in developing marketing and communications strategy for multi-market companies
• Proactive and motivational leader who can grow and develop their team. Experience on managing a team is essential
• Able to work in fast paced environment and able to adapt to change
• Experience of managing costs and leading budgeting and cost control processes
• Problem solver and project management skills – able to lead projects to delivery
• Understanding of online business models. Able to carry multiple projects thought to competition
• Fluent written and oral English skills: German or other European languages is a plus
