THE COMPANY

My client is a fast-growing company with an incredible invoice management software solution is looking for a Marketing Campaign and CRM Manager to join its team. You will manage the admin of Salesforce and Marketo to ensure that everyone in the business is using both platforms to their maximum capacity.

The CRM & Marketing Automation Manager will lead and manage our Marketo instance including marketing campaigns, lead scoring, lead nurturing, and integrations with our website compleatsoftware.com web forms and Salesforce

He/she should be a marketing operations professional able to grasp digital behaviour trends and marketing and sales analytics. This individual needs to be passionate about the field and well-versed in marketing automation, marketing concepts and lead generation best practices. The goal is to develop and deliver effective automated marketing programs that will help support sales and grow our commercial revenue.

The right candidate for this position will have the winning mix of hands-on marketing automation experience with Marketo, CRM experience with Salesforce, excellent writing skills, proven ability to develop analytics for various channels to drive demand and conversions, attention to detail, and desire to learn, excel and over-achieve at every step of the way.

This is the ideal role for a data-centric, cross-channel marketer who wants to grow into a more strategic role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly, quarterly, and yearly lead-to-revenue metrics to marketing management
  • Develop a best in class inbound/outbound marketing automation platform, methodology and infrastructure to manage engagement metrics, scoring and nurturing
  • Analyse the monthly performance and make recommendations for improvements and optimisation of content, mix, frequency, etc.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team using Marketo and give insight into campaign activity
  • Understand and own customer segmentation for the B2B Marketing team
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, professional services teams to improve data quality, reporting, and segmentation

CRM & Database Management

  • Own the CRM (Salesforce), including the integrity of its data.
  • Report on all day-to-day CRM activity and ensure reports are up-to-date and accurate, to allow the team to develop insight into the effectiveness of all lifecycle campaigns, which will ultimately provide the intelligence to continuously improve and identify future opportunities for growth
  • Create and report on sales pipeline reports, marketing campaigns reporting, ROI, Optimise Salesforce UI to track the information required for business decision-making.
  • Be hands-on and assist with the implementation of all campaigns across every brand and product in the company portfolio.

Marketing Automation

  • Using our marketing automation solution, plan, write, setup in HTML, track and report on email marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Track an email marketing report to understand how well our email marketing efforts are doing.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all external and internal creative and communications and ensure any advertising complies.

Metrics & Analytics

  • Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports using Salesforce and Marketo.
  • Look for innovative ways to display and communicate analytics.

Social Media Advertising

  • Manage and plan social media advertising campaigns.

Skills & experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a CRM Marketing role within a B2B environment
  • Software background would be highly beneficial
  • Self-starter, can work independently and proactively to resolve issues, take ownership for tool and process
  • Excellent stakeholder management, planning, project management and prioritization skills
  • Highly experienced in Salesforce with Marketo or similar programme also an advantage
  • Experience in Marketing Automation essential
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce CRM and CRM best practices
  • Experience of in delivering campaigns with short notice
  • Experience of campaign planning & management being able to prioritise and balance many campaigns at one time and to deliver projects on time, on budget and at a high quality with demonstrable ROI
  • Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Marketing qualifications
  • An understanding of the complexity of the Sales & Marketing relationship and the requirements for proper lead management
  • Proficient in Email marketing
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google search
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, an asset.
  • Good experience in Google and Web Analytics
