€120K salary + package

My client, a leader in the online gaming industry, is seeking a Director of Content and Communications to join their European HQ. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the development of an external facing communications strategy that will drive the acquisition of new users and nurture an engaged audience. The Role

The Director of Content and Communications will be responsible for leading the Communications team, and delivering an exceptional content and social media plan that will meet broader marketing initiatives.

Working with multiple internal stakeholders at home and abroad, you will be responsible for:

  • Plan, deliver and lead a creative, international communications strategy that has a focus on new user acquisition and customer engagement.
  • Lead and be an advocate of Social Media outreach projects – working with brand ambassadors and influencers to amplify content online.
  • Delivering impactful ROI through quality content and social media engagement and reporting on these initiatives at C-Level
  • Work closely with the analytics team to understand success, and using data to create future communucations plans that will generate traditional press, digital and social media coverage.
  • Manage, motivate and develop the team.
  • Be an advocate of best practise, internationally.

The Candidate

  • You are a talented, experienced senior level communications professional with demonstrable experience across PR, Digital Communications, Digital/Print Editorial, and Social Media.
  • You are strategic and analytical, with excellent experience in creating narratives – you will be able to demonstrate where you have delivered a storytelling approach to content and communications. You will not be fazed using data and insight to fuel further decision making.
  • Experience within the Sports/Entertainment industry is highly desirable.
  • You must have experience managing large teams – some of whom work remotely.
  • Exceptional communication skills are a prerequisite to be considered.
