Internal Brand Engagement Manager

City of London Contract / 6 Months £350.00 - £400.00 per annum

My client, a leading IoT innovation business, is looking for an experienced Brand story-teller to develop a global communications strategy that ensures all activity is communicated to employees in an engaging fashion.

No longer a start-up and with significant investment from parent brand, the business is busy preparing for a global relaunch of the brand across four principle markets including the UK, Ireland, North America, Canada and one other European market currently in development.

The business believes the best brand advocates are already working for them, and know that the power of a brand internally is just as important as how it is received externally.

So, they are looking for an exceptional communicator to help us spread the word across all functions and amongst our global workforce, to share all of the great campaigns and work that is launching in each of the markets.

They are looking for a creative and passionate individual who can champion the work they’re doing and communicate it in a truly engaging fashion that excites internal employees and galvanises them behind the strong foundational brand architecture they have created.

The main output of the role will be:

  • Global understanding amongst our employees of what we are trying to achieve with the brand, how we are setting ourselves apart from the competition to achieve our commercial and brand KPIs.
  • Global consistency in how the brand is talked about and referenced by our internal teams.
  • Globally aligned and engaged workforce of passionate brand advocates across the business.
  • Some of the things you could be doing…

    • Establish a global communications strategy that ensures new marketing initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders in all the brand’s markets at all levels in an engaging fashion
    • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of mediums
    • You may also be required to work on the layout of content
    • Work with agencies and in-house design teams to create tools which
    • Deliver presentations at organisational events, such as conferences, team meetings and ‘town halls’
    • Ensure communications are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation, but tailored where relevant for cultural nuances
    • Ensure communications are consistent with brand positioning
    • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
