SEO Account Manager

The Company

My client is a young, established Digital Marketing agency with a large array of clients, from start-ups to big brands. They have a strong nurturing and supportive culture, with a fun and relaxed atmosphere in the office. As a medium sized agency, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of business areas, where everybody’s ideas are welcome and encouraged.

The Role

This is a client-facing role and you will be working directly with a wide range of businesses, from small start-ups to big brands. You will work closely with the clients to identify their business needs, problems and objectives. The SEO Account Manager role will map out their digital marketing strategy. You will also be responsible for making sure this strategy is implemented, working in collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with the client to identify their core digital marketing problems.
  • Performing marketing and customer research to see where the client sits in the marketplace and what types of customers they should be looking for.
  • Setting measurable project objectives which will have an impact on the client’s business needs.
  • Writing a strategy plan with the above research and discussions with the clients.
  • Delegating work to specialists within the team.
  • Communicating regularly with clients through phone calls and meetings.

Please only apply if you possess the following:

  • At least 3 years digital marketing experience
  • Comfortable in leading projects, and managing their day-to-day running.
  • Enjoy communicating directly with clients and managing their expectations.
  • Strong understanding of business strategy; able to clearly understand and identify business problems and provide their solutions.
  • Advanced on-site and technical SEO knowledge.
  • Able to assimilate and explain SEO and digital marketing theory to clients in a useful way that does not alienate, but informs strategic approach.
  • Analysis of large datasets including strong knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
