The Company

My client is an international travel company, with multiple brands, including one flagship brand. They are a household name with a strong global presence. Headquartered just outside London, they are made up of a team of diverse experts and offer the chance to work in a truly multicultural environment. The Role

You will take responsibility for day to day paid search activities for the brands across the group, on a global scale. The Head of PPC will be responsible for leading the PPC strategy, with a remit to drive the growth and efficiency of the channel. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with significant budgets on a global scale across some very exciting well known and respected household brands.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for paid search performance across multiple websites, search engines and geographies.
  • Formulating and managing the implementation of initiatives to enhance the efficiency or scale of PPC campaigns.
  • Delivering PPC Initiatives and activities through the agency partner so that it acts as an extension of the marketing team.
  • Managing the allocation and rate of spend to ensure best performance against commercial goals.
  • Review and continually improve strategies for bid optimisation, creative and keyword development.
  • Harvesting data on cross-device usage and defining the strategy for mobile PPC advertising.
  • Generating and distributing management reports to ensure that the wider team is aware of paid search performance and trends.
  • Reviewing and feeding back on conversion and quality score opportunities – PPC landing pages, user experience etc.
  • Reviewing competitor advertising to benchmark marketing activity.

Essential Skills

  • Experienced with managing large scale, complex PPC campaigns and have extensive and up-to-date knowledge of search marketing trends and best practice.
  • Passionate about Search Marketing along with an analytical mindset, capable of working with large data sets, utilising strong excel skills.
  • Hands on with great attention to detail, proven by the success you have had in contributing to significant profit growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and experience of executing international paid search activities is desirable.
