Content Manager

Surrey Contract / 3 months £200 - £250 per day

My client, a leading global consumer tech giant, is on the hunt for a Content Manager with experience with CMS’, and ideally Amazons Vendor Central, and are comfortable auditing and cleansing of old content, provide fix lists, project managing the development and delivery of assets, optimise product names and descriptions etc, understanding of the Amazon ways of working would be a preference.

You will be responsible for day to day monitoring, editing, getting sign off, and upload of content changes to deliver best-in-class online retail merchandising across Amazon for multiple product groups.

You’ll be responsible for setting up the concept, strategy and plan for implementation to make sure customers have a consistent shopping experience with the right information to convert in whatever channel they are in. Plus managing resource in a timely manner as a process lead, and managing stakeholders internally and at Amazon on status of content plan and progress to date.

What the day to day looks like…

  • Acquire and manage asset requirements and specifications per channel
  • Keep up-to-date target channel lists for content supply
  • Maintain asset plan / calendar
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing in the channels
  • Work closely with agencies providing assets and briefing in specific requirements for Amazon best in class execution.
  • Monitor in-life products and make sure content quality are up to date with no broken UX, UI elements.
  • Remove out-of-date content liaising with KAM (Key Account Manager)
  • Manage content localisation to match local features and benefits (product specs)
  • Acquire and manage asset requirements as per briefs
  • Providing project plans
  • Provide best in class operations processes
  • Issues management.
