The Company

A Global Digital Agency at the forefront of cutting-edge Digital Commerce transformations for leading Retailers & Brands worldwide. At an exciting time in their growth, the Agency continues to deliver end-to-end eCommerce solutions for Retailers whilst also building on their service offering with innovative first-of-its-kind projects at major CPG & FMCG brands.

The Role

Thanks to unprecedented growth and demand from their customer base, a new opening has arisen for an Account Director to join the team. Responsible for a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers (typically Tier 1 Retailers), the Account Director will nurture senior level relationships, while supporting the delivery team engagements and generating revenue through additional services:

  • Relationship management: oversee the relationship and create trust with key customer stakeholders at Tier 1 Retailers
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell & upsell opportunities to enable portfolio growth
  • Review meetings, creating roadmaps and strategy review
  • Service Delivery: work with the Project Manager to ensure smooth on-boarding and delivery of SLAs
  • Identify ways to improve services and feedback product suggestions internally


The successful Account Director will be naturally commercially-savvy and passionate about the Retail eCommerce industry, whilst most likely possessing the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar commercial role as an Account Director/Senior Account Manager/Customer Success Manager/Relationship Manager/or similar, responsible for protecting & nurturing relationship with Tier 1 Enterprise Customers
  • Expert knowledge of the eCommerce & Retail industry and associated technologies (eCommerce platforms, Digital Commerce, Omni-Channel Commerce, Order Management Systems, Associated Marketing Technologies)
  • Strategic & consultative individual who is able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders up to C-Level, but also commercially-savvy with the aptitude to own the commercial relationship
  • You may have worked for an eCommerce/Retail Vendor, Digital Agency or Systems Integrator in a commercial role responsible for major Retail, FMCG or CPG accounts
  • Desire to work for a global organisation within a high-growth team in a dynamic working environment.
