The Company

An exciting pre-IPO SaaS Marketing Technology Vendor with an inspirational leadership team and strong financial backing. Already recognised as an Industry Leader in their space, this organisation is growing from strength to strength. Their pioneering SaaS technology platform is used by an ever-expanding global list of Enterprise Retail & eCommerce Organisations.

The Role

Thanks to continued growth and success, an opening has arisen for an experienced Customer Success Manager to join the team in a player-coach capacity. The Customer Success Team Leader will play a key role in supporting major strategic accounts, whilst managing a team of 3-4 Customer Success Managers:

  • Team leadership: act as a mentor to lead & motivate your team, supporting others to grow in a positive learning environment
  • Bring a vision for the future of the team through providing direction & structure
  • Take the lead role with your own customer portfolio of up to 6 key enterprise accounts across the UK & Europe
  • Relationship management: be an evangelist for Customer Success and ultimately deliver successful customer outcomes that delight
  • Review meetings, creating roadmaps and strategy review
  • Identify ways to improve services and feedback product suggestions internally

The Candidate

The successful Customer Success Team Lead will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong desire to work in a strategic customer success & account management role responsible for long-term customer success
  • Some previous experience leading a team or proven experience mentoring & developing others
  • Good understanding of SaaS platforms in previous roles such as Client Success, Account Manager or Project Manager responsible for enabling customer satisfaction, adoption and improving retention
  • Energetic and highly-motivated individual with a strong desire to work in a dynamic tech start-up environment
  • Degree educated from a recognised university
  • Experience working with any of the following marketing technology solutions could be beneficial (but not essential): eCommerce; Web Analytics; Digital Marketing; Email Marketing; Marketing Automation; Personalisation; Social CRM
