Key Account Manager

A FinTech 100 business who provide banks with digital banking solutions to improve engagement with customers, are looking for a Key Account Manager to join the team at their HQ in Winchester.

Providing innovative digital banking, mobile banking and more solutions to financial services clients (wealth management, banks and so on) has enabled them to recently win awards at Finovate alongside many others.

You’ll truly be working with thought leaders; the Commercial Director speaks at regular industry events as a keynote speaker. They will provide an outstanding platform to be working alongside some true FinTech experts to develop your FinTech career.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for responsible for growth and retention of existing UK clients currently approx. 15 accounts and some new business development

Whilst the role is primarily based in their UK head office in Winchester, there is flexibility for home-working 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide the lead point of contact for any customer matters
• Develop and maintain strong, professional customer relationships with key business executives
• Understand customers’ specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet those needs
• Handle problems and faults and refer on to specialist technical colleagues
• Provide advice to customers on all aspects of the software, services and infrastructure both before and after any sale, advising on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of contexts
• Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contract revisions to maximise profit
• Deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately and confidently
• Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of employers’ systems

Requirements

• Graduate with 3+ years’ experience working in a sales environment, ideally in the Digital Banking or Fintech industries;
• proven work experience as Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager and a proven track of selling and growing a business base.
