Account Manager – Market Intelligence – London

The Company

Launching in 2015, one of the fastest growing tech companies in the UK right now, resulting in being inducted into “Upscale’s: Top 33 promising Start Ups in the UK, 2017”. These guys specialise in Global Market Intelligence solutions, providing an innovative Software/SaaS solution to predominantly major FMCG clients such as Unliver and Coca-Cola. Above all else, their current VC backing is hugely reputable, especially within London, making this one of the hottest companies to work for in the next 3 years!

The Role

This role will be working very closely with the Head of Sales, curating and developing existing client accounts. With current clients on their books such as Unilever, P&G and Pepsi, this role would need a candidate with an extremely strong background in growing strong customer relationships, maximising retention rates and having the ability to cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for clients.

  • Take responsibility for a set number of clients, making sure that you are the first point of call for all enquiries and outbound activity.
  • Build long term relationships with several different line managers within the same account.
  • Generate revenue through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, providing the best examples of what modules of the product will be useful for client requirements.
  • Be confident on designing and presenting the solution to clients.
  • Manage and solve client conflicts with the product.

The Candidate

The successful Account Manager will possess the following skills and experience:

  • University Degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of SaaS/Software Account Management experience (consultative sell).
  • Demonstrable background in working effectively with existing customer relationships.
  • Fluently speak English and Ideally speak a second language.
  • Versatile, able to learn on your feet and willing to contribute to the overall mission.
  • A hands-on self-starter.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication.
