Business Development Manager – Digital Marketing Solutions – London

The Company

One of the top Google Partnered agencies in the UK, with an amazing existing client base, across many key verticals such as Retail, FMCG and Financial Services. They are a performance led digital marketing agency, specialising in a strong portfolio, including web design, SEO, marketing analytics and video advertising.

Due to significant growth, the current sales team is looking to grow from 5 to 10 in the next 3 months, ready to achieve a record year in 2018. This role will be pivotal to the growth of the company, as the successful candidate for this role will have a clear defined career path for a sales team leader role in the next 12-18 months.

The Role

Join a great team, with a great environment to thrive and be successful, in West London! The successful Business Development Manager will have a strong background in consistently hitting revenue targets, using a consultative approach.

The Business Development Manager will be tasked on promoting the full range of agency services to direct advertisers. You will be working very closely with the CEO and VP Sales in the UK on executing strategic sales plans to hit and over-achieve new business revenue targets.

  • Identify, open and close deals through management of own pipeline.
  • Work with clients on a consultative level.
  • Generate own pipeline, to assist the inbound leads from the lead generation team.
  • Managing sales cycles of less than 2 months. Experience in handling larger volume pipeline due to the short scale of sales cycle.
  • Manage senior CxO client/prospect relationships with the highest levels of satisfaction, offering value-added, insightful and strategic solutions to maximise return in their business.
  • Understand the benefits of Social in B2B selling & be able to inspire others to follow their lead.

The Candidate

The successful Business Development Manager will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Degree educated & min 3+ years of sales experience in a B2B.
  • A valued team member, who upholds the company values and professional integrity at all times.
  • Self-starter mentality who controls their own destiny themselves.
  • A great developer of people.
  • Experience of selling to various sized accounts with a focus on managing high volume new business relationships and a successful track record of converting that business.
  • Proven track record of revenue delivered, pipeline generation, developing new opportunities and managing sales pipelines – in a start-up environment.
  • Highly organized demonstrating superb time management skills.
  • Proven solid understanding digital marketing channels.
  • Ideally, would have contacts with B2C advertisers within acquisition teams and strong experience of digital marketing.
