Corporate Sales Manager – Scotland

One of our partners, a leading business within the global payments eco-system is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in the Scotland. Following further investment into the European arm of the business you would be part of an energised and expanding team.

Overview

You will be responsible for new business sales within a defined business segment within the North, UK Business Market. The principle aim is for you to be able to close bank referred leads from a UK Banking Partner and in addition, self-generate leads and sell Payment Services and VAS to achieve new customer targets and revenues in line with business objectives and sales targets. You will primarily target large corporate.

Skills

  • Demonstrable over-achievement against target experience in a direct sales technology based B2B marketplace in a role that is primarily focused on new business acquisition.
  • Specialist knowledge of the acquiring / payments market is desirable.
  • Primary understanding of engaging large corporates and applying a complex sales methodology.
  • Building relationships with CXO’s and engaging with multiple stakeholder management within the decision-making cycles.
  • Well-developed understanding of the skills involved in opening and closing a sale in the Large Corporate space.
  • A structure that is underpinned by a recognised sales methodology is desirable
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels internally and externally.

Key results

  • To achieve set monthly targets in respect of DIAOR (net income), KPI’s, back to bank referrals. As determined by the company and in accordance with the business
  • Be responsible for closing leads from the bank partner, identifying, developing and closing sales through prospecting and activity and fully understanding the business key needs, customer decision cycle, and decision-making process of the customer.
  • Initiation and delivery of sales projects across the UK team and also ensuring through attendance on internal project boards that the needs of the customer and sales team are met.
  • Influencing company-wide strategy wherever possible.
  • Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly forecast and ensure information on CRM is updated daily.
