Global Head of Sales Operations – SaaS Vendor – London

The Role

Having undergone a significant growth in headcount and customer base across new territories globally and as part of their continued hyper growth, a new opening has arisen at a leadership level to scale the Sales Operations function. This is a senior management level opportunity to join the business in both a ‘hands-on’ and strategic capacity.

Leading by example, it is likely that the successful candidate will be experienced in building highly efficient Sales Operations supporting a high performing SaaS Sales team in a high-growth & dynamic environment. Working across multiple business functions, this role requires an individual who is customer-focused, detail-orientated, strategic and someone who can adapt quickly to changes in an agile environment.

The Candidate

Joining the team at a critical stage in their growth, the successful Global Head of Sales Operations will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience excelling in a similar role building and leading Sales Operations at a Software Vendor, providing operational excellence as well as strategic guidance
  • Broad skill-set with experience across contract review/negotiation, sales compensation plans, sales training & enablement, sales performance metrics
  • Experience of working closely with cross functional teams during a period of progressive change and growth and communicating clearly around key milestones and highlighting risks and dependencies.
  • Expert Salesforce user a big plus!
  • Understanding of the SaaS model and sales cycles beneficial: a clear passion for fast-moving, high-growth technology businesses & SaaS platforms
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet critical deadlines in a high pressure environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced global organisation preferred
