The Company

An exciting SaaS Technology Vendor with an inspirational leadership team and strong financial backing. Already recognised as an Industry Leader in their space, this organisation is growing from strength to strength having recently raised a significant round of VC funding. Their pioneering SaaS technology platform is used by an ever-expanding global list of customers.

The Role

Having undergone a significant growth in headcount and customer base across new territories globally, a newly created opportunity has arisen to work across the Sales & Operations team in a strategic capacity leading the role out of a new Quote to Cash/CPQ platform. Joining the team at a critical stage in their growth, the Head of Deal Desk will:

  • Play a pivotal role in the scoping, implementation, rollout and ongoing maintenance of the Quote to Cash platform
  • Drive efficiency and process improvements in cross-functional, globally dispersed teams including Operations, Enablement, Information Systems, Finance & Legal
  • Ensure that all systems are aligned across Sales, Operations, Finance & legal through delivering training and guidance
  • Take ownership of optimal commercial and financial engagements across different territories to ensure customer contracts clearly incorporate correct T&Cs
  • Proactively seek out opportunities for future projects in the creation of a global deal desk team

The Candidate

The successful Head of Deal Desk/Deal Desk Manager will most likely bring the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within order management, sales operations, deal desk, management consulting or finance in a SaaS business
  • A clear passion for fast-moving, high-growth technology businesses & SaaS platforms
  • Proven experience working with Quote to Cash or CPQ tools is essential
  • Advanced analytical skills and effective decision making ability
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload across multiple demands and meet deadlines professionally whilst maintaining a sense of humour!
  • Experience of working closely with cross functional teams during a period of progressive change and growth and communicating clearly around key milestones and highlighting risks and dependencies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced global organisation preferred
