SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE – MAIDENHEAD

Job Summary:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for supporting the sales team during the early stages of the sales cycle. This includes collaborating with marketing, partners and the Sales Directors to prospect a sales territory, target and engage with new accounts and qualifying inbound leads. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a highly productive and methodical approach and an aptitude for creating demand and identifying opportunities within large brands, media companies and agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute outreach to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, social etc.
  • Run initial discovery phone calls to qualify new business opportunities
  • Manage all contacts and leads in Salesforce.com to accurately and efficiently process opportunities
  • Achieve quarterly New Business Meeting and Qualified Opportunity goals

Requirements:

  • Quick learner and self-starter
  • Demonstrated outstanding work ethic and desire to generate new business
  • Aggressive “hunter” mentality and adept in using creativity to prospect
  • Highly motivated, driven and organised, with a desire to work in a fast-paced, fun and demanding environment
  • Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to establish credibility with brand/media/agency executives
  • Desire to constantly learn and process new information about the industry, solutions, partners, customers and competitors

Not required but preferred:

  • European languages a considerable advantage
  • Experience working in Software/SaaS business development/sales
  • Understanding of the sales cycle and the process of lead generation
