Senior Inside Sales Representative – BI and Data analytics SaaS – London

The Company

A top global brand in the BI and Data Analytics SaaS space are looking to add to their prestigious UK business development team. These guys are currently 500+ employees strong, worldwide, with a greater financial backing behind them, making them a very exciting company to join, given the “best of both worlds” culture. The current team provide a great mix of experience, creating an environment of continuous development for all the Inside Sales representatives.

The Role

The head count for this team has risen due to the overwhelming business that has recently opened within the market, correlating with the magnificent work of the existing team. The solutions you will be working with are at an enterprise level so allows you to add another element to your already existing skills, such as working strategically with different decision makers on each account, as well as working closely with the Sales Managers.

  • Develop new relationships through phone, email, and social media communications in order to establish meetings with senior level decisions makers in companies.
  • Assess the prospect’s needs, explain the solution, qualify the prospect, and schedule meetings for your Sales Managers to begin their sales process.
  • Assist in the consultative sales process by learning as much as you can about a prospect and sharing that information with the relevant Sales Manager.
  • Work in tandem with your Sales Managers and Marketing to research potential targets and identify key players and penetrate those targets by using creative strategies and tactics.
  • Utilize their sales database and marketing automation tools to manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information about suspects, prospects, and their companies.

The Candidate

The successful Business Development Executive will possess the following skills and experience:

  • 1 + years of experience in a market/sales development role.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent experience.
  • Good eye for detail and comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and driven, personable, able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Receptive to ideas and feedback.
  • Previous experience prospecting for an Enterprise SaaS or Financial Services firm
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and marketing automation platforms like Marketo and Eloqua.
  • Proven track record achieving measurable monthly lead development goals with a senior level audience.
  • A solid understanding of what it takes to effectively manage and execute inbound and outbound prospecting strategies.
  • Fluent knowledge of either business French and/or German would be considered an advantage.
