Solution Architect (Demandware) – Up to €100,000 + excellent company benefits + annual bonus – Nuremberg, Germany

I am working on an incredibly exciting opportunity that has arisen for a well-seasoned Solution Architect (Demandware) to be based in the heart of Germany’s Tech Hub.

My client is an industry leading global retailer who are expanding one of their Germany headquarters, they have an urgent requirement for a Solution Architect (Demandware). The package on offer is remarkable – a salary up to €100,000 plus excellent company benefits, 30 days’ holiday, a guaranteed annual bonus between 10-20% and all travel paid for. If you are relocating – 1 month hotel and car paid for, transportation of all possessions, all visa costs paid for, 3 years of tax support

Day to day role:

  • Leads the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external, and internal customers.
  • Takes full responsibility for the balance between functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organisation.
  • Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution.
  • Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies.
  • Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures they are applied effectively.
  • Maintains and applies up to date, specialist knowledge of database concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles, and a detailed knowledge of the full range of database architectures, software and facilities available.

Requirements:

  • Demandware experience is highly desirable (not essential)
  • Ideally come from a full stack background e.g Node JS, AWS
  • API Driven
  • Agile
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and client meetings effectively and to deliver constructive feedback
  • Ability to work freely throughout Germany
