BI/Data Engineer

BI/Data engineering- our client is one of the leaders in the AI space revolutionising health care, they are looking for someone who is experience with Power BI to join their artificial intelligence team to build and release great AI powered products, focusing on data / machine learning to work on the architecture of complex data architectures at extremely high scale, in real world environments and problem spaces. You will have the opportunity to work in an environment delivering large scale globally to solve the worlds health care problems launching in multiple countries this year.

The role:

Building the next generation of reporting and analytical solutions

Built the ETL process for new data imports

Use of relational, NoSQL, file system and graph databases for work

Supporting a cross functional team working with data and data insight solutions

Communicating with a number of key stakeholders across the business

Bringing data from a wide variety of data sources and performing data modelling to streamline data

Requirements:

Experience working in a lean fast paced agile environment

4+ years experience with both BI/ Data engineering

The ability to build end to end processes for reporting, inception of idea all the way through to ETL and analytical solution delivery

Good experience with SQL, relational databases, NoSQL, column store and schema design

Good experience with big data platform tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Ambari, Spark

Proficient with PowerBI, tableau, Qlikview

Working knowledge or commercial experience with web analytic platforms such as Appsflyer or Google analytics

Programming experience with Scala, Python or Java
