Pricing Analyst – Advanced Analytics – Staines

My client are a Market Leading business in the energy and services space. You will be at the heart of catering to the needs of customers with the view of delivering smarter homes through the creation of relevant price propositions.

We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to play a vital role in the development of pricing strategies across different products making the most of advanced techniques and technology. You can expect the firm to invest heavily in your development from a career and technical standpoint. This is a great environment to add the latest skills to your repertoire whilst working in a FTSE 100 firm.

The role consists of the following:

  • Create insightful pricing analysis, making the most of internal & external data.
  • Working closely with your customer insight colleagues to conduct competitor price reviews
  • Identify opportunities to add value.
  • Form new & innovative recommendations on price optimisation, for new & existing customers.
  • Play a key role in the development and analysis of complex models
  • Work with models across customer lifetime valuation, price elasticity test design, and customer behaviour.
  • Help with the implementation of price changes, and monitor the impacts of those changes on key business metrics.
  • Liaise with other areas of the business and contribute to the preparation of pricing materials, financial models and business cases.

Candidates must have the following experience:

  • Highly numerate
  • 1-2 years experience ideally
  • Good potential and ability to develop strong technical skills with guidance.
  • A strong interest in insurance/retail pricing and advanced analytical techniques.
  • Able to be a self starter and work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate insights and recommendations effectively
  • Academic record in a quantitative subject such as Maths, Statistics or Engineering
  • Exposure to tools such as SAS, R, SQL or similar is an advantage but not essential as excellent training will be provided.
  • Experience across insurance, energy, or Customer Lifetime Valuation (CLV) is a HUGE bonus.
