Front End Developer

Start-up- Front End- Contract- Healthcare

Our client is a health-care start-up creating a new platform and service to allow access to physiotherapy assessment anytime, anywhere, virtual assistant, truly digital therapist from the use of your mobile apps powered by clinical decision trees, quickly evaluating treatment needs fast track to the right care. This is a greenfield project for someone to hit the ground running building APIs, Webhooks, bug fixes on the current MVP using HTML5, CSS3, OO JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

• Help unravel business critical problems via technology
• Champion the user to ensure they create world class and the most amazing experiences
• Build and improve on their core applications and services
• Create advanced and cross-platform experiences
• Be a part of a self-organised and results based agile team
• Be enthused by working with new tools and technologies and a real advocacy of cutting-edge solutions to solve real life problems
• Collaborate with a cross functional team to launch new features
• Maintain all the best practices producing high quality code
• Working with the team to adopt a microservice-inspired architecture

Skills:

• 3+ years’ commercial experience
• Proficient in React.js / Redux / webpack / HTML5 / CSS3 / SASS
• Distributed version control systems such as Git or Mercurial, and loved them
• A strong focus on continuous integration and delivery
• Worked in an environment with a big emphasis on TDD, BDD and Unit Testing
• Building high-performance and scalable applications
• Thorough understanding of design and implementation of RESTful web services

Bonus:

• Firebase (Google software)
