Java Developer

Java contract- London- £500-600.00 per day

Our client has built the technology infrastructure to track trillions of micro transactions and solve inefficiencies impacting a global industry. Role:

• operational support for existing usage ingestion pipeline

• analyze current/ongoing performance issues and optimize

• optimize existing Java and PL/SQL code base:
• refactor code to separate it into self contained module(s)
• improve monitoring and alerting
• set up disaster recovery environment

Skills:

• Oracle SQL with experience of data loading in a production environment, of analyzing performance issues, and of high volume (>100m row) tables / partitions
• Familiarity with processing of various file types including CSV, XML, JSON
• Java
• AWS experience
• Unix and familiarity with CPU, I/O and network monitoring tools

Nice to have: Exadata experience; Docker
