Senior Front-end Developer
Salary – 50-70k
Location – N3 London

Salt are currently recruiting for a Senior Front-end Developer to join an exciting, early stage start-up in a key role to help shape the user interface to the highest quality and take ownership of the products whilst collaborating across design and development teams and mentoring less senior developers. The Senior Front-end Developer will be responsible for implementing new and updating and maintaining existing modules to take the platform forward into the next stage.

The Responsibilities of the Senior Front-end Developer

  • Designing, implementing and maintaining an engaging user experience
  • Making sure everything you build is the highest possible quality
  • Keeping up to date with the very latest in front end technologies and practices and incorporating the best of them in the product roadmap
  • Working closely with a small group of like-minded people to achieve greatness in everything we do

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3-6 years commercial/software coding experience
  • Computer Science (or related) degree or equivalent experience
  • A keen eye for design with proven experience in building modular, design centered interfaces
  • Experience in architecture and building client side applications on top of APIs (RESTful or otherwise)
  • Bonus:
  • Experience with Python
  • Full-stack web development using modern web frameworks
  • Experience with client-side testing frameworks (PhantomJS/Selenium/Cucumber/Jasmine)

The client works with contractors and freelancers to take the pain away from companies and how the handle the administration, invoicing and timetables and accounts through assisting major brands such as Netflix, Asos, IDEO and AirBnB in their process.
