The Role: Sr. Full Stack Developer (Scala, Java, JavaScript)

As Full Stack Product Developer you will work in an Agile development team to develop one of the business’ core flagship products. As they LOVE new technologies they continuously innovate. This translates in a very cutting edge full technology stack both on the back end (Scala, Java, Java8) as well as the front (Core JavaScript, AngularJS). With a little bit of Cloud implementation to top it off (Heroku, AWS).

What is required?

  • Hands-on experience of Scala/Java8/Java development in a commercial role
  • Hands-on development experience with a frontend JavaScript Framework in a commercial role
  • An interest to be/experience as a Full Stack developer
  • A keen interest in functional programming
  • A completed Bachelor or Master’s degree in a related field
  • A passion for clean, well-engineered code
  • A highly collaborative and communicative nature

Nice to haves:

  • Cloud experience (AWS, Heroku etc.)
  • Experience with SaaS
  • Experience with the recent best practices in software engineering like continuous delivery or Continuous Integration
