Senior Hybris Developer, Lead, Retail, Programmer, Digital, Agile

This is an exciting opportunity for a Hybris Developer to work for a Leading Global Retailer. This brand is known throughout the UK and across Europe.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst Programmer to come on board and take a lead role in building solutions across our clients Core Services (Buy, Sell, Reward, etc.) ensuring that they are fit for purpose, on time and meet acceptable standards to support our European development and expansion priorities. Coach and assist in development of Analyst Programmer, Programmer and Junior Programmer and deputise for Development Manager where necessary.

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter you will have exceptional Hybris experience and have worked on multiple projects as a Lead.


  • Work closely with Solutions Architects to understand how the systems interrelate to enable better decision making during development
  • Work with Business Analyst to interpret Business Requirements
  • Undertake technical analysis, systems design and program specification, development and enhancement of programs with a high level of complexity
  • Writes, reviews and approves systems, procedure, program, and database documentation
  • Perform Unit & System testing of changes with a high level of complexity to ensure a smooth transition to EQA
  • Work with the business analyst and EQA to fix issues and work towards user acceptance of the changes
  • Creates, reviews and approves Service Transition and Support documentation to ensure a smooth handover on to the production environment
  • Supervise new staff as required as part of their training or induction programme
  • Supervise, mentor & coach staff as part of their ongoing training or induction program
  • Manage with both internal and external 3rd parties to ensure the successful and timely build of new or enhanced systems

Key Skills

  • 5+ years in an appropriate development environment
  • Experience of mentoring and coaching others with the ability to deputise in Managers absence
  • Able to handle multiple projects/tasks concurrently and prioritise appropriately
  • Hybris experience

The successful candidate will receive a salary between £40,000- £65,000 + bonus + an extra £3k progressive long term bonus + Pension + Private Medical + other Benefits and a fantastic sock option scheme
