Technical Support Specialist – French / English / Spanish – Support – Barcelona – €25,000 – €30,000

My client is a worldwide leader in providing customer intelligence and delivering on-demand email, push and social campaigns featuring personalization. The company’s mission is to provide excellence in technology and services for digital marketers.

Role Description
The role will be within the Technical Support Team and will be responsible for managing inbound support cases requests through channels like phone, email, or by other means and to help track the requests until successful resolution. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a customer facing support team that is pivotal to the success of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Primary contact for any issues the client experiences and to be the first to acknowledge an incident
  • Support, log, categorise, prioritise, track, and route (i) support cases reported by users or (ii) alarms raised by monitoring tools
  • Implement basic, documented break-fix tasks along the lines of following a cookbook recipe
  • Escalate to an L2 resource (TAMs) and follow documented escalation procedures, again, like following a cookbook recipe

Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years commercial experience in a help-desk environment
  • Experience using Sales-force or similar ticket / case management system
  • Independent, able to work efficiently with minimum supervision and with a high degree of self-motivation
  • Detail-oriented approach with thorough attention to documentation and procedure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-starter and able to take ownership of projects with minimal supervision
  • Proactive, not just reactive approach
  • Project Management skills
  • Bilingual – French, English, Spanish

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree from a leading university or equivalent & relevant experience
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, JSON/XML, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL and related web technologies
  • Experience in Shell and UNIX Scripting including large data manipulation
  • Experience in basic systems administration in Linux and Windows
