Role: TLM Developer (TLM Control)

We are looking for a well experienced developer to join our team to assist with an ongoing project. Here is a little of what is expected.

  • A good experience of TLM control, TLM Recon Admin, TLM Design Studio, TLM smart Studio, TLM Web Connect, TLM CT Tool & TLM Smart Schema [TLM v2.7]
  • Global Financial Markets, IT Systems development, preferably in applications for Back Office operations.
  • Proven track record in developing application capability in highly configurable application environments.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Worked on large and complex code base
  • Technical knowledge of TLM product & using the vendors application tools and customise the user interface screens, system workflow and database structures to meet new version of TLM.
  • Upgrade TLM Cash & Confirmations instances from control 1.2 to 1.3 using the vendor’s application tools and customise the user interface screens, system workflow and database structures to meet new version of TLM. Building the new configuration in Control
  • TLM Schema Design and use of TLM Smart Schema
  • Amending the configuration in Control to accommodate the upgrade changes
  • Providing full and comprehensive documentation of all changed and new components so that they can be successfully promoted from Development to UAT and ultimately into Production.
  • Liaising with Testing team to schedule and execute regression test processes, and to create new regression test scripts as directed
  • Understanding of TLM match rules, Initiations/Pass Lists.
  • Understanding of Database Indexing and Performance Tuning of Dashboards and Match Rules for optimal performance
  • Understanding of User Roles and Profiles using Smart Studio
  • TLM Schema Design and use of TLM Smart Schema

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Using TLM application to develop and customize the user requirements, system workflow and database structures to meet new and changed business requirements.
  • Working closely with the stakeholders and other Team members to ensure that the changes being developed:
    • Are fit for purpose and meet the documented business requirements.
    • Do not unexpectedly impact other system functions.
    • Keep full records of changes made and create release documentation that will allow the promotion of the development package to other testing and UAT environments.
    • On request, investigate incidents that the support team have diagnosed as relating to application configuration. Advise on problem resolution or possible work around.
  • Work on development of TLM functional components
  • Simplify and restructure the code base, subversion repository and server configuration, removing redundant or unused code
  • Ensure adherence to service delivery standards as defined by Clockwork, eg: alerting, monitoring, trend analysis, etc
  • Ensure satisfactory execution of the continuous build process, and prompt resolution of any build related developer issues
