VP of Engineering – AdTech going through sizable investment

A client of mine who is currently hiring a VP of Engineering. They are an ad-tech company disrupting the tradition digital media ecosystem. Their proprietary technology allows them to optimise traffic acquisition, making us less dependent on traditional free traffic sources. They have created one of the fastest growing digital publishers in the world, attracting over 60m users per month to their digital properties. In 2021, they hit 20M USD turnover and reached a headcount of 25 people (+30 freelancers), with great profitability. They are well funded and one of the top 5 industry leading performers and offering fantastic opportunities to shape and lead the development team.

As VP of Engineering, the main responsibility will be to set and deliver on a technical strategy that drives transformation toward their long-term business goals. Initially, this will involve leading an in-depth evaluation of the current codebase & tech stack, as well as setting-out a long-term vision for the firm’s technical requirements and infrastructure.

They’re looking for someone with:

● Proven experience in a Leadership role (CTO, VP Engineering, Lead Dev at notable firm )

● Proven experience in AdTech or a similar industry Familiar with some of the following technologies:

● PHP / Symfony ● MySQL ● AWS / OVH ● React JS ● Gatsby ● REST APIs (Google, Facebook, Ad Networks) ● Google Ad Manager ● Vanilla Javascript ● HTML / CSS
