ATG / Oracle Commerce Consultant – London – Travel Required – Up to £70,000 + bonus and benefits

A global eCommerce specialist is seeking both a Senior and Tech Lead ATG/Oracle Commerce consultant to join the business in a client facing capacity/

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting architects with technical design, assist with risk mitigation strategies and implement innovative solutions.
  • Team leadership, inspiring the members to come up with innovative solutions, suggesting them yourself and reporting progress
  • Development, Integration, and Deployment of customer functional specifications, site-specific customisation’s, behaviour troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
  • Assist and train customers in development and customisation of ATG tooling, Scenario Server, Content Administration, Merchandising, Business/Consumer Commerce, Page Development, Customer Service Centre etc.
  • Guide delivery of Endeca search with its ranking rules, dimensions and index configuration
  • Troubleshoot and debug deployment issues on customer implementations on-site in international locations, often in situations where little or no documentation exists.
  • Participate in project meetings including post-project analysis and provide insightful input and ideas and effectively communicate project status and challenges.
  • Create customer confidence and ensure customer success with solid technical skills and knowledge, hands-on implementation capabilities, can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, reliability and commitment to delivering quality and adding value.
  • Understand and implements in-house products and ways of working.
  • Help recruit and retain resources for technical careers.
  • Contribute towards Professional Services community via knowledge sharing, best practice documentation and training on our virtual workplace.

Experience & Skills Required –

Comprehensive knowledge of:

  • Oracle Commerce (ATG)
  • Design
  • Integration patterns
  • ATG component architecture

Broad knowledge of:

  • Commerce
  • Agile methodology
  • Industry verticals, Retail, Telco, Travel

Experience with:

  • Oracle Commerce ATG, Endeca, WCS, Coherence
  • Client side engagements
  • Leading a team
  • Customer presentations

Technical Skills:

  • Platform ATG
  • Operational with monitoring tools

Protocols, Web services, REST, HTTP, JSON, XML
