City of London Contract / 6 Months £450.00 - £550.00 per day

BA- Our client is one of the leaders within the E-commerce sector, they are embarking on a huge digital transformation project building their next generation of products and services. This is an opportunity to work in a lean environment with inspiring leaders creating products used by 30+ millions people globally. As a BA within their Digital Experience team you will work on the execution and delivery of the company’s largest programme of work – the redevelopment of the website, mobile and apps to drive a superior retail and customer experience across all their platform

Culture – Play a key role in fostering the culture within the wider Product Team, the wider business and the product community.

Performance – Help ensure the overall quality and viability of the digital products being designed and developed. Always strive to iterate their products based on evidence. Ensure products bring value to the business and deliver against revenue targets and other defined KPIs and performance metrics including conversion rate, frequency, AOV.

Customer Experience – Champion the adoption of Product Management and User Centred Design (UCD) to ensure products are designed to meet our customers and users’ needs.

Key Accountabilities

Business Requirements / User Stories:

  • Leading the gathering, writing & management of functional, non-functional, technical requirements and business rule documentation to create responsive digital products and services which solve business problems and opportunities in the context of the customer’s expectation
  • Drive the development and delivery of end to end solution design and business requirements within an agile development framework
  • Takes a hands on approach to work across the entire product lifecycle from stakeholder analysis, user stories to product & feature delivery working closely with, ux/design engineering and commercial teams
  • Work with UXD to prototype ideas and solutions to understand business requirements and customer experience
  • Promoting system & process Improvement using behaviour driven development (BDD).
  • Help define and articulate the why behind each requirement and the acceptance criteria that will satisfy them. As much as possible use data to justify the requirements
  • Be the go-to person in the team for in-depth understanding of the requirements before, during andafter development phase
  • When needed, analyse the needs and requirements and come up with alternative ways to satisfy them, from which the team will choose the most appropriate one

Process

  • Skilled in pragmatic and flexible application of Agile methodology and techniques in a challenging solution driven business environment
  • Ability to take condense and formulate complex business and technical problems and communicate to technical and non-technical teams
  • Delivering product requirements and use cases to a high standard and work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements
  • Be responsible and lead business acceptance criteria of new developments across Epics, User Stories & Tasks
  • Collection & analysis and testing of statistical information and data for further presentation to technical

and business stakeholders using diagrams, tables, charts, graphs, documents and reports.

  • Assisting the product manager and development team with backlog grooming & product definition
  • Participate and run workshops, design and idea sessions across the organization
  • Carry out scrum masters activities from time to time
  • Assist Scrum Master/Development Manager in facilitating sprint planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Develop training materials for any changes and new processes introduced to the business

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Will obsess over metrics such as AOV, Conversion Rate, Return Visits
  • Design experiences that directly impact conversion rate and commercial performance
  • Designs solutions that deliver business KPIs / OKRs
  • Designs solutions that deliver an integrated and engaging user experience
  • Cost to build solutions are kept to a minimum
