Agile Project Manager

Looking for an Agile Project Manager to join a Software Development house with over 700 clients across 50 markets worldwide with offices in London, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Singapore

This company has recently been acquired by a larger group who in turn have a number of agencies across the globe specialising within programmatic digital media and marketing.
They offer an innovative trading platform amongst other software tools across these global agencies.

The Role:

This person will work alongside Product Managers, engineering, business stakeholders and tech management, working across multiple product delivery teams within the Tech department.
The Project Manager will drive project delivery, are responsible for effective project management, initiative planning and delivery through the software lifecycle (SDLC), collaborating with product management, engineering, business stakeholders and tech management.
This position will also ensure cross department projects are successful, and ensure that visibility of initiatives is maintained across the company

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver initiatives from conception, kick off, build, release and alongside global SaaS rollout teams
• Develop and maintain a communications plan, to enable project sponsors, stakeholders and tech management team are appraised on progress
• Prepare and maintain all initiative documentation, including milestones plans, delivery plans, reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication
• Work with cross product development teams to identify approach to delivering initiatives, identify dependencies, and manage the approach
• Ensure initiatives are planned and executed in-line with the defined approach:
  • Initiative team roles and responsibilities
  • Risk and Issue identification and management
  • Build approach
  • System and Operational Acceptance testing
  • Deployment planning, management and transition into production
  • Operational support plans
• Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards
• Ensure business benefits can be realised or that risks preventing this are highlighted
• Support Programme Manager to facilitate improvements to delivering initiatives

• Take an agile and iterative approach to project management
• Working in a fast paced agile environment, with a can do attitude
• Experience of delivering at least one significant business application project that has a demonstrable and measurable business impact, ideally around Data Warehousing or SaaS
