THE COMPANY

This is a great opportunity to join a leading Global British Multichannel Retailer as part of their new and exciting digital IT strategy working on the forefront of technologies.
You will be joining Retail Labs which is a small team of product owners and mangers, designers, developers and business analysts, collaborating on retail innovation in the stores.

THE ROLE

  • To ensure that trial requirements and backlog priorities are defined, documented and that success criteria clearly articulated
  • To own the relationship with retail colleagues, along with product owners and managers, co-ordinating communication from other IT teams
  • Identify opportunities to enhance or adapt existing business processes where more appropriate than a technical solution
  • To work with development teams ensuring requirements are handed over and correctly understood to the required level
  • To work with the development teams to ensure trials meets these requirements, and that any design issues are resolved
  • To assist product owners and managers in the production of business cases, specifically providing support to quantify business benefits
  • To work alongside retail colleagues to ensure that the impact in terms of process, organisation, acceptance testing, training and cultural effects is planned for and managed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Ability to select and make use of information gathering methods, tools and techniques which are appropriate to the information required and the sources available.
  • Skills in identifying gaps in the available information required to understand a problem or situation and devising means of remedying such gaps
  • Expertise in, or a willingness to become proficient in, analytical tools such as Spotfire, Business Objects, and SQL query tools
  • Understanding of development methodologies, including agile delivery, and phases in project lifecycles
  • Ability to use business analysis techniques to help modelling and understanding business and its operation. Examples: functional business models, statistical process control, relational data modelling, use cases

This is a highly successful and progressive organisation which offers good career progression and a new way of working such as the ability to work from home. The successful candidate’s will receive salary between £30,000 – £40,000 + Substantial Benefits Package + Bonus
