IT/Solutions Manager/South London/ Sussex

Job Description

My client is a leading international retailer who is leading the way in their field. In this role you will be leading the identification and definition, working closely with key business stakeholders, with the aim of finding ways to improve and grow their business, through the development and enhancement of their digital and customer-facing systems and technologies. This is a pivotal role connecting the ever changing needs of the business with emerging technologies and trends to deliver creative and innovative technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be managing your team of IT Business Analysts and Solution Architects, liaising with other IT teams, 3rdparty suppliers, and key business stakeholders to shape and deliver projects that will improve the functionality, performance and reliability of the company’s ecommerce, CRM/Loyalty, and Retail platforms.
  • You will be responsible for the portfolio of projects in the ‘Digital & Customer’ area; ensuring activities are coordinated and controlled to optimise the delivery of value, whilst executing effective communication to key stakeholders.
  • You will be working with the IT PMO function on all projects or business change initiatives.

Skills and Background:

  • Senior IT Manager with highly developed stakeholder management skills?
  • Extensive knowledge of digital and retail systems ideally with experience in one or more of the following – ecommerce, CRM/Loyalty, and POS?
  • Proven portfolio management and project delivery experience, with solid business analysis and solution architecture skills?
  • Proven experience of leading teams IT teams of 10+
  • Do you have experience in managing vendors and 3rdparty service providers?
  • Strong budgetary / financial management capability?
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills?
