Online Banking Project Manager

Greater London Contract / 6 months+ £575.00 - £600 per annum
Online banking is a central component of our Customer Deposits Transformation and will introduce new ways for our customers to interact with the bank. The project manager is responsible for the delivery of our internet banking roll-out, on time and within the agreed scope, budget and quality. He/she needs to engage with business teams, software engineers and third parties to ensure successful delivery. We are looking for a capable project manager with the skills and vision to help manage this project.
You should have experience in project management, preferably in the finance sector and/or in the digital environment, be a highly motivated team player and have good communication skills. You will lead and guide the members of our project teams, and serve as the liaison between our company, our clients and our third party suppliers.

  • Managing project execution and ensuring assigned projects adhere to scope, schedule and budget.
  • Consulting with our operations team to define and clarify project requirements, budgets and statements of work.
  • Creating and updating project plans with information such as project objectives, specifications, schedules, staffing, funding and other resources.
  • Tracking and monitoring project milestones and deliverables.
  • Assigning work to appropriate team members and ensuring that they are fully informed of their objectives, goals and expectations.
  • Evaluating the performance of project team members.
Key Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful implementation of projects
  • Organise and run workshops and follow up activities with all relevant stakeholders to ensure business and technical requirements are fully understood prior to development beginning.
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Track progress against plans and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Manage relationships with all involved stakeholders (IT teams, business representatives and software vendors)
  • Manage project risks and issues
  • Challenge requirements to ensure design of efficient solutions
  • Create and maintain project documentation together with the project team
  • Collaborate closely with technical development teams (internal and external)
