Senior Project Manager, Fin-Tech, Payments

Looking for a Senior Project Manager to work for a leading provider in purchase-to-pay and e-invoicing solutions to the world of commerce.
This is one of the most successful fastest growing and largest companies of its kind, connecting over 1 million companies across the hundreds of different countries.

The Role:

The Senior Project Manager takes responsibility for the delivery of medium to large customer projects. Those projects comprise 50 -500 person days, have multiple work streams and/or multi-site roll outs.

  • Presentation Development and Delivery: Presents business and/or technical concepts and multi-part solutions aligned to the customers’/our clients business needs to the team members and customer.
  • Solution Structuring: Leads the process of identifying the customer’s business problem by selecting the appropriate method to gather information (e.g. interviews, group sessions). Builds relationships interacting at most senior customer levels to gain understanding of the strategic challenges facing the customer organization. Develops end-to-end solutions that address complex customer needs.
  • Documentation: Oversees production of an entire business deliverable document for internal or external use. Drives efforts to define, improve, and maintain product and developer documentation strategies, standards, processes, and business practices.
  • Operational Management: Effectively estimates time/resources for activities that must be undertaken by the team and may lead/delegate tasks or responsibilities to others.

Experience & Skills:

  • 8+ years project management experience delivering projects for external customers, 3+ years at senior
  • Bachelor or Masters
  • PMP or Prince 2 required
  • ITIL Foundation and/or MSP Foundation and advantage
  • Full driving licence
  • Familiar with business processes related to procurement and accounts payable
  • Knowledge of integrating with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Oracle

This is a highly successful and progressive organisation which offers good career progression. The successful candidate’s will receive a salary between £65,000 – £75,000 + Benefits
