Service Delivery Manager, Project Management, Investment Banking Consultancy

This organisation specialises in helping financial services firms with designing and implanting IT & business solutions, with over 4,000 employees and offices around the globe this company is a strategic partner for some of the best names out there.
As a Service Delivery Manager you will be working on extremely demanding and technically challenging projects for some of the world’s top investment banks. Luckily you will be working in a great collaborative environment with all the support, tools and processes to help you achieve your work goals.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a structured approach and shows persistence when needed to deliver projects on time and on budget, managing both business and technology change projects across both functional and geographic boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership and management of all Service Management processes including Incident, Problem, Capacity, Business Continuity, Service Level, Release and Change Management
  • Ownership of team performance against bank-wide standards and Service Level agreements
  • Managing and motivating the team to ensure service commitments are met, creating a strong culture and work ethic focussed on success
  • Focal point of contact for senior IT and business stakeholders. Acting as a point of escalation for any major Incidents
  • Contact for Internal and External Audit. This will include coordinating and responding to audit requests for information
  • Respond to major incidents, working with direct reports as needed to deliver a speedy resolution
  • Working with the change function to help prioritise the change current book of work
  • Managing development projects priorities and deliveries
  • Release management of bug fix code and small enhancements
  • Regular service management reporting to management

Requirements:

  • Experienced in leading and managing a nearshore team.
  • Strong client facing and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task across several concurrent projects.
  • Experienced IT professional with Support background and technical skills.
  • ITIL V3 Service Management Foundation or Higher
  • Investment Banking experience
  • Understanding of Credit Risk, Derivatives and Bonds (not essential just a benefit)

This is a highly successful and progressive organisation which offers good career progression. The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of up to £70,000 – £90,000 plus a benefits package and Bonus.
