Head of Email Deliverability – London – £70,000 – £80,000 – Depending on experience

As Head of Email Deliverability at you ensure excellent email delivery rates; creating a solid and stable base for digital marketing innovation and growth for our customers.

You will are responsible for the processes, procedures and services that support both internal and external customers.

As a subject matter expert you take the lead on educating clients and internal teams on data, email and privacy issues. You also work with other key stakeholders in the business to ensure effective alignment of related client support processes and functional areas.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain industry relationships with internet and email providers directly and through active participation in influential industry groups
  • Act as a thought leader both within the business and externally in the market
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge with regard to legal requirements, regulations, and digital marketing best practices as they affect privacy, deliverability and the effective operation of our business
  • Ensure the effective dissemination of knowledge relating to privacy and deliverability requirements, regulations and best practices throughout the business
  • Ensure the effective management and on-going development of deliverability systems and process
  • Ensure the effective management and professional development of our deliverability teams globally

Candidate Requirements

  • Prior experience of managing outbound deliverability for an ESP is a key pre-requisite, experience of managing inbound for a consumer based ISP or mailbox provider a bonus
  • Knowledge of underlying infrastructure and operational challenges relating to MTAs etc
  • Awareness of legal compliance, privacy issues, and challenges related to email and SMS marketing internationally, particularly with reference to EMEA
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with multiple stakeholders
