The UX Designer works with with an experienced multi-disciplinary team based in KL and the UK.
She/he works alongside a UX Developer and reports directly to the Art Director.
Responsibilities
● Work with an Art Director, UX Developer and research/analytics teams at all stages of the product development lifecycle to:

○ Understand the requirements and constraints of the user, technology, business and brand
○ Iterate ideas using sitemaps, wireframes, storyboards, process flows and creative layouts
○ Rapidly develop concepts and prototypes in preparation for user testing and an iterative development cycle
○ Translate ideas/prototypes into production ready designs

● Work with UK team – overlapping hours where necessary

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree from disciplines relevant to interaction design, or candidates with relevant working experience
  • Strong background of user interface design experience with a portfolio of projects
  • Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
  • Strong knowledge of information architecture, taxonomy, user flows and element/page transitions
  • Strong understanding of user research, personas and the use of analytics data to inform design decisions
  • Knowledge of mobile first responsive web design
  • Knowledge of web design/development processes
  • Understanding of HTML Emails and best practices.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Essential Skills

  • Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/PDF/etc.
  • Other process software/online tools – Google Slides/Sheets/Docs, Microsoft Office

  • Work at an agile & fast pace
  • Use iterative and innovative working processes
  • Develop commercial, usable & data-led work

Would be nice if:

  • Experience in e-commerce is a plus
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript a plus
