A fin-tech startup is looking for a UI designer to join them on their next exciting phase of growth. The fin-tech is looking to provide an innovate approach to investments for Singapore and their overseas markets. Reporting to the Brand Director, the UI Designer will collaborate with the development, marketing and product teams to produce amazing user experiences on the company’s Web and mobile app products.

The UI Designer must have an eye for clean and artful web design, excellent user interface design skills, supported by the ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and transform them into beautiful designs that work and work well for users. Keeping up with the latest trends and standards in design and software development will also aid in being successful in this role.

This will be a UI-focused role but UX skills will be useful as well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development team
  • Conceptualize original website and app design ideas
  • Iterate web/app design functionalities to ensure a great and intuitive user experience
  • Create wireframes, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Conduct research activities to gather user requirements
  • Work with brand consultant to create design style guide and user interface designs for implementation.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience as a web and app designer. Agency experience will be advantageous.
  • Experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows and sitemaps
  • Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
  • Experience with Sketch/Invision/Zeplin/Photoshop/Illustrator/Adobe XD
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction ​
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
  • Team player mentality
  • Desire to work in a start-up
  • ​At least a Diploma in the relevant field
