Recruiting Director – Business Development (Hunter) for a Global Life Insurance Tech giant in Singapore.

Role Purpose:

  • This is a quota-carrying sales role for someone with well-developed consultative selling sales skills.
  • The primary objective is to acquire new logo life insurance clients in Asia Pacific, selling directly to insurers or via partners.
  • Further, working with internal teams and partners, you will play a key role in the build-out and development of new offerings / markets in Asia.


  • Minimum 6 years’ sales experience covered banking and then Life insurance sectors – so in depth knowledge of life insurance industry and life insurance players across Asia
  • Sold “digital services” (i.e. Cloud-based services) to life insurers – across the insurance value chain with solutions covering: mobile platforms, portals, quote and product configuration engines and policy administration systems
  • Career progression from software engineer, to account management to sales (Hunter role)
  • Track record of hitting sales quota’s annually
  • Excellent Prospecting skills (ability to canvass for new business) and opportunity management skills.
  • Contacts at a decision maker level in our target market
  • Excellent track record of achieving sales targets
