Data Engineer

Kuala Lumpur Permanent RM96000.00 - RM120000.00 per annum

The Company

Our client is an e-commerce platform and they are currently looking for a Data Engineer.

This role will primarily revolve around;

  • Designing and developing end to end data pipelines and integration processes
  • To perform data profiling, data cleansing, data mapping and etc
  • Recommend and monitor ways to improve data quality
  • Work and collaborate across various teams in the company to understand business needs

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Physics, Statistics or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of working experience as a Data Engineer
  • Experienced in Data Warehouse, Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Spark and etc
  • AWS experience is a big plus
  • Strong hands on experience in ETL/ELT
  • Good understanding of different database technologies like RDBMS or NoSQL
  • Data visualisation (Tableau, PowerBI or Qlikview) experience is good to have
  • Excellent communication skills especially in Bahasa Melayu as you will be liaising with local stakeholders
