About the Role:

Working on a flagship product, you’ll write the product strategy and execute on it.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary Agile team to manage and drive continuous improvement, and develop a best-in-class product.

Responsibilities:

  • Product design, development, and management of the product
  • Define the product vision and strategy including roadmaps, core positioning and messaging
  • Lead and communicate the product vision, strategy and approach to key stakeholders
  • Conduct research and understand needs and opportunities, conduct market assessment and sector analysis, analyse data for insights
  • Lead on-going product development using an insight driven and agile approach
  • Work with key stakeholders within the organisation and unpack business requirements to inform product strategy and roadmap
  • Lead and facilitate internal and external stakeholder engagement, consultation, and negotiation on product development issues to ensure product suitability.
  • Ongoing stakeholder management to ensure they are engaged in the product development lifecycle
  • Drive capability uplift across the organisation by educating on Product Management approaches and outcomes

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Product Manager, developing and managing product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Experience managing external and internal relationships and competing priorities
  • Deep understanding of product design, development, and delivery
  • Ability to achieve multiple product objectives, meeting tight deadlines, and resolving complex problems
  • Ability to analyse data to identify trends, inform decision making and manage risk
  • Proven ability to understand how different digital platforms work within the overall ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of Human-centred Design and Designing Thinking methodologies
  • Understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to set team direction, providing clear expectations on targets and stretch goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisation, planning and coordinating skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to embrace diversity and demonstrate inclusive leadership
  • Ability to self-manage during change and ambiguity
  • Experience in User Experience and/or Service Design (desirable)
