Senior Product Designer

Contract Length: 6 months

Day Rate: $800-950

Location: Melbourne or Sydney

The Company:

A large financial services organisation with a mature design department are looking for a new Senior Product Designer (UX) for an initial 6 month day rate contract.

You’ll join a close-knit design community with regular opportunities to collaborate, including design jams & workshops.

This supportive team value innovation, customer research and accessible design. Working arrangements are hybrid, with 2 days a week in the Melbourne or Sydney CBD office.

The Role:

We are looking for a UX Designer with a strategic focus, on the senior end of senior. You’ll work in a complex area of the business, with interesting problems to solve. Full client and project details available on request.

Your Skills & Experience:

· Senior UX Designer, with a focus on strategy

· Experience designing for complex problems

· Comfortable taking a lead, running customer research and synthesis activities alongside project design lead

· Ability to work self-directed and progress designs & research/testing

· Experience working to supporting the delivery teams (engaging with BA’s, PO’s, Testers and Development and Accessibility)

· Comfortable in uncertainty and with a project with evolving definition.

· Ability to balance Desirability, Viability & Feasibility considerations

· Ability to present your designs, from problem to solution to senior stakeholders

· Highly proficient in Figma and / or Sketch
