Senior UX Designer – Contract

Contract Length – 3-months initially

Day Rate – $700-900

The Company:

Exciting opportunity to join a large financial services organisation in Melbourne’s CBD for an initial 3-month day rate contract, with a view to extend.

This mature design department values innovation, customer research and high quality work. You’ll mostly work remotely, with 1-2 days a fortnight from the office.

The Role:

You’ll join a multi-disciplinary team within the Financial Crime division, tasked with uplifting the customer identification and verification process.

You’ll work to elevate existing foundational designs and work with the Project and Technical teams on requirements to include additional features and functionalities to build out the next MVPs. This role will suit a systems thinker, with experience of internal systems and complex corporate processes.

This is a Senior position – you’ll have worked in a similar capacity as a UX specialist and will have the necessary experience to understand, influence and advise internal and/or external stakeholders.

Your Experience:

• Experience with internal systems and complex processes, in a corporate environment
• Confident running co-design sessions with stakeholders
• Ability to use all modes and methods of user testing
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across multiple projects and within deadlines
• Ability to communicate well with Developers, Architects and Solution Designers
• Ability to conduct presentations and workshops remotely as required
• Comfortable providing directional recommendations based on quality research and syntheses
• Ability to provide low-fi & mid-fi prototypes supported by design patterns and accessibility standards
• Ability to create clarity in uncertainty and be willing to evolve solutions and concepts
• An eager self-starter with the ability to connect with people and respect other points of view
• Ability to work at pace on what is important
