Director – FPA – ANZ

About the Role / Company

This role as Director – FPA ANZ based in Sydney AU (4 reports) reports to Head of Finance (global) however will be part of a collaborative innovative leadership team who are Business Partners in Sydney.

As a trusted Senior leader in FP&A with both financial & business goals as the primary focus, you will have plenty of scope to forge a very successful career with this company.

Some of the main responsibilities that fall under your remit is as follows: –

Responsibilities

• Lead the long-term planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and regular financial reporting
• Foster collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement & challenge the status quo too
• Embrace the business projects for e.g., M&A modelling, design, planning, reporting & presenting business cases
• Lead staff & other stakeholders to coach and develop in your area of expertise
• Be the authority to mitigate financial risk by being the advocate for financial discipline
• Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives
• Responsible for controls with P&Ls top (80%) and bottom line (20%) growth in line with all the leadership team in both wholesale & retail sectors. This includes OPEX and CAPEX budget controls
• Use TM1, Cognos, Tableau, Advanced Excel, database management and advanced PowerPoint user preferred. SQL, VBA skills – desirable

Skills and Experience

• You will be a qualified & experienced Senior FP&A Executive (degree qualified)
• Add value with your strong business partnering and collaboration
• Value add addition the greater business supporting their financial goals
• Be respected by your knowledge and showcase of experience with advanced FP&A skillset including B2B & B2C.
• Good exposure to LTV, CAC, and its impact on business strategic will be a plus.
• Authentic people leader and able to lead a small and highly skilled finance professionals.
• Open-minded and motivated to provide value to regional projects and initiatives.
